Before joining SimSpace, I've always believed that cybersecurity is evolving at a staggering pace, shaped by technological advancements, emerging threats, and the relentless efforts of security professionals working behind the scenes. Given this perspective and previous collected knowledge, while at, SimSpace I decided to take a unique approach for Cybersecurity Awareness Month.In this Cybersecurity Awareness Month campaign, I focused on “The Evolution of Cybersecurity” to highlight the past, present, and future of the industry through the voices of those who live and breathe security every day. By interviewing experts within SimSpace—seasoned veterans and rising talent alike—my aim was to showcase firsthand experiences, lessons learned, and predictions for the future. This campaign not only educated our audience on how cybersecurity has transformed but also underscored the critical, often underappreciated, work of security practitioners who have been on the front lines, defending organizations from ever-changing threats.By amplifying their perspectives, the goal was to drive awareness, inspire the next generation of cybersecurity professionals, and advocate for the recognition and support that true cybersecurity experts deserve.This campaign involved a series of social media posts, email marketing campaign, adverstising efforts, and the creation of a subset of the website dedicated to highlighting the essence of the campaign. This campaign was incredibly well received among partners, clients, and prospects alike.

When I joined Airlock Digital, it was clear that the brand needed a stronger identity—one that not only clarified our value proposition but also resonated with the modern cybersecurity landscape. I spearheaded a complete rebranding effort, starting with in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify key differentiators. From there, I led the development of a new brand narrative that shifted the conversation from traditional application control to proactive, intelligent allowlisting. This included a refreshed visual identity, updated messaging that emphasized security without complexity, and a more engaging digital presence across our website and social media.I also collaborated closely with sales and product teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, reinforcing our positioning as the most effective and user-friendly allowlisting solution available. The result was a revitalized brand that not only attracted new customers but also strengthened trust and loyalty among existing users.

About the film: What We Leave Behind is a 2022 documentary film directed by Iliana Sosa. The film is a portrait of Sosa's grandfather, Julián Moreno, as he starts building a house in the Mexican state of Durango. As a younger man, Julián had spent decades living between the United States and Mexico, first working as a bracero and later traveling by bus to visit his children and grandchildren in the Southwestern United States. In the film, Julián revisits this past with his granddaughter as the two forge a tighter bond together.My role here was to help coordinate marketing efforts to elevate the awareness of the documentary film with the ultimate goal to encourage audiences, industry leaders, and notable media organizations to view the film. Additionally, I was in charge of editing trailers, spearheaded the graphic design, and other objective focused campaigns. Our efforts resulted in various documentary film awards, a Gotham nomination for best documentary, and prelimanary consideration for the Oscar's Academy Award as Best Documentary.
